Northstrike ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website northstrike.in. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

We collect only the following personal data:
- Email address — provided voluntarily when you subscribe via our waitlist form.
- IP-derived country — inferred automatically from your request to enforce rate limiting and prevent abuse. The full IP address is not stored.
We do not collect names, device identifiers, or any behavioural/tracking data. We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your email address is used solely to send you a single notification when Northstrike launches. We will not send newsletters, marketing emails, or share your email with any third party.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR, our legal basis for processing your email is your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the waitlist form. Under the DPDP Act 2023, processing is based on your free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent.
4. Data Storage
Your email is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare complies with GDPR and maintains data centres in accordance with applicable data protection law. Data may be stored in the United States or the European Union depending on Cloudflare's routing. By submitting your email you consent to this transfer.
5. Data Retention
We retain your email address until Northstrike launches and the notification is sent, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. After the launch notification is sent, emails will be deleted within 30 days unless you have opted in to further communication.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate this website:
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, and database. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Google Fonts — typography. Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN; Google may log the request. Google Privacy Policy
No analytics, advertising, or social tracking services are used.
8. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted their data, contact us immediately at privacy@northstrike.in.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
